Dedicated Office

Taking a dedicated office suite with Wakefield Business Centres will save you time and money.

Simply decide on the number of people you need to accommodate and your preferred location and Wakefield Business Centres will do the rest. VAT may be applicable dependent on the property choice. Prices quoted are based on a 12 month agreement. Shorter terms can be offered.

Shared Office

Workstation rental includes a dedicated desk but not a dedicated office suite. This method significantly reduces costs and is ideal for new startup companies or freelancers.

The same services are included as a dedicated office with the addition of furniture. A desk, chair and pedestal is included in the price along with other services such as heating, power, lighting, Internet etc

  • Workstation prices are £190 per month based on a 12m term.
  • Shorter terms are available but a small surcharge may be added.
  • Vat may be added depending on which property you select.

Conferencing

Located next to the new Wakefield Westgate train station with access to London Kings Cross, Langham House and The Plex offer you a choice of perfect spaces for conferences and meetings from £20 per hour for room hire. The rooms can be hired, per hour, per half day and per full day. Bookings can be taken Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays), should you wish to extend these hours or book the rooms at a weekend, then please enquire for detailed costs. Options are avilable below:

Meeting Rooms

You can choose from two boardrooms one of which can comfortably hold up to 18 delegates, and we can take care of your refreshments and catering requirements too. If you are a dedicated tenant you are entitled to a preferential rate on boardroom hire. Please get in touch for detailed pricing information.

Virtual Offices

Virtual Offices allow you to create a corporate class image, but without the office costs, therefore minimising your monthly fees. Tailor made Virtual Office packages from address to full secretarial service and meeting room hire are available. Features are below:

  • Mailing address:
    A unique mailing address for the Business Centre from which you can collect your mail during normal office hours
  • Telephone Line with voice mail:
    Dedicated phone number with remote retrieval of voice messaging. Calls are diverted to a voicemail box.
  • Telephone answering service:
    Dedicated phone number answered by our receptionists. Message logging received via email. Voice mail service as above outside of office hours.
  • Conferencing facilities:
    Use of The Plex meeting room for 2 hours per month.

Coworking

When you want the facilities and space of an office, but only need to drop-in occasionally, hot desking or coworking are a convenient and practical solution.

You’ll only pay for the space you use, with no need to commit to the financial investment of permanent office space. Therefore you have access to a work-ready office space that meets your business needs including the availability of conference and meeting rooms to utilise at your convenience.

Our hot desks and coworking space is situated within The Plex on Margaret Street. All of our hot desks are provided set up and ready to use immediately with access to internet and set in a comfortable workspace. We will also assist you with administration and general office management requirements.

Please see below for the various coworking pacakages available for you to choose from:

  • £15 for Hotdesking – per day (during reception hours)
  • £65 per month – Allowance of 5 desk days per month (during reception hours)
  • £125 per month – Allowance of 12 desk days in the month (during reception hours)
  • £150 per month – Dedicated desk within the coworking space, and the ability to come and go as required.

Manned Reception

Our Wakefield business centres have reception areas which are manned during normal business hours. Your clients will be greeted upon their arrival and you will be informed that they are waiting in Reception for you.

All post is received by Reception and delivered to the suites as appropriate. For the Virtual Offices, the post will be collected as before and depending on which Virtual Office package you choose, it will either be forwarded on to you or you will be contacted in order for you to collect your post at your convenience.

For further information about the Virtual Offices Packages, please see the Virtual Office section. All three properties have the option of a telephone answering service available to them. The Receptionist answers any phone calls that come through to your dedicated number and you will then receive a message log via email. There is also the option to have your calls forwarded to you. A voicemail service is available out of hours so you will never miss a message.

Mail Services

You can have your mail delivered to a professional business address as opposed to your personal one. Mail can be collected during normal office hours or you can add on our mail forwarding service. Please see our Virtual Services for detailed information on available options.

CCTV and Security

Wakefield Business Centres take security very seriously and so all our buildings have CCTV around the external areas and are fitted with a high standard alarm system to ensure your safety. Each internal office has a codelock fitted minimizing on the need for keys.

24 Hour Access

The reception team are available Monday to Friday, but we offer tenants the benefit of 24hr access giving you the flexibility to work from the office whenever you need to.

Shower Facilities

Do you go out at lunchtime for a run or gym session? Our Wakefield based business centres offer tenants access to a shower facility, so you can keep your daily exercise routine going without compromising on your work.

Free High Speed Internet

We understand how critical internet connectivity is to all business so our business centres offer a standard speed fast internet service free of charge. For a small monthly fee we offer various speed packages so you can increase the speed dependent on your requirements.

Free Ultra Fast Internet

As The Plex is Wakefield’s first Digital and Create Hub, ultrafast internet connectivity is installed to allow the digital sector optimum performance. As with our other business centres there are different speed packages available to cater for everyone’s need.

Smart Lighting

We have reduced our carbon footprint and invested in app enabled smart lighting in some of our buildings minimizing on high touch contact points. Some of our business centres also have dedicated power and lighting circuits for each room to limit third party outages.

Onsite Parking*

On site car parking facilities are offered as an *optional extra (depending on location). You are allocated a dedicated spot to allow you to come and go throughout the day as necessary, safe in the knowledge your space is always available for you.

IP Phones*

We appreciate that not everyone requires a phone line, however ours is a state of the art VOIP system offering many benefits and features which we can install at any point during your tenancy (*as an optional extra).

IT Support*

Wakefield Business Centres can provide advice and assistance (*as an optional extra) if and when things go wrong with your IT as we have our own IT support company based on site and as a tenant you will be offered a reduced charge rate. In addition we endeavor to provide as much support as we can upon you moving into our business centres.
